Sydney Dive Wreck

The Sydney Dive Wreck initiative offers a unique opportunity for community members passionate about enhancing local tourism and creating new adventures in Sydney's coastal waters. By establishing an artificial reef through the scuttling of a decommissioned vessel off Coogee Beach, this project aims to provide a world-class diving site that harmonizes with the ocean environment. The artificial reef will foster marine biodiversity, support the development of artificial reefs, and enhance fishing opportunities for both recreational and commercial fishers. The proposed dive wreck is projected to have a useful life exceeding 100 years, offering long-term benefits to the community and the marine ecosystem. For comprehensive details, please refer to our business plan.
